Zurich, May 6, 2025 - naoo AG (ISIN: CH1323306329, WKN: A40NNU), operator of the unique social media app naoo, will launch its newly developed data platform Gaia in May of this year. Gaia will be the architectural basis for all AI-supported functions of naoo in the future. This new data infrastructure will enable naoo to offer scalable analytics, intelligent recommendations and personalized user experiences across the entire platform

Gaia turns naoo into a learning and adaptive social media app that has the ability to understand user behavior and derive relevant content from it in real time. The data architecture created with Gaia is able to process billions of interactions from millions of users around the clock in a matter of seconds and learn continuously.

The Gaia concept comprises a modern, multi-layered lakehouse architecture - a hybrid data model that combines the advantages of data warehouses with their structured and high-performance queries with the flexible storage of large volumes of data in a data lake. Operational and analytical data is merged in a common system, and user interactions, content metadata and social relationships are structured, enriched and analyzed. This applies to historical evaluations as well as real-time feedback and AI models.

Gaia is also the technical basis for naooSense (see news from 18 February 2025), the specially developed algorithm that combines behaviour, interests and context data to generate personalized content, feed compilations and recommendations in real time. naooSense forms the heart of the personalized user experience on the platform and is constantly learning.

These technological developments in the field of artificial intelligence will create the basis for a naoo experience that feels unique for every user.
