Zug/ Zurich, January 27, 2025 - naoo AG (ISIN: CH1323306329, WKN: A40NNU), operator of the unique social media app naoo, is continuing its successful growth trajectory. The number of downloads increased by 65% in Q4 2024 compared to the previous quarter. This means that the total number of downloads has now exceeded the 85,000 mark. At its peak, naoo was in third place in the Swiss App Store ranking and has thus established itself among the top 10 most popular social apps.
At the same time, organic growth also continued to gather pace in the final quarter of 2024. This is demonstrated, for example, by the app's ever-increasing discoverability: 59% of new users found naoo directly via the App Store search. In the third quarter of 2024, this rate was around 37%. This has a direct impact on the conversion rate in the app store (from impressions to downloads), which has increased almost fivefold in the last three months of 2024 and now stands at 23.3% - further proof that awareness of the app is steadily increasing.
Engagement as a driver for sustainable reach
The engagement figures within the naoo community also developed positively compared to the previous quarter: interaction with content, measured by the number of likes and comments, rose by 80 % from 340,000 to 610,000. During the same period, direct networking between users - measured by the number of follows - increased from 160,000 to 240,000 (+50 % compared to Q3).

It can be concluded from these developments that the naoo community is not only growing, but also has an increasingly active and closely networked structure. The high level of participation, the ever-increasing content and the intensifying exchange between users are all very positive signs. This creates a solid basis for sustainable growth and strengthens naoo's position as an interactive network with added value for users and advertising partners.
In particular, the significant increase in engagement figures within the naoo community can be attributed to targeted measures. In recent months, the feed logic has been successively optimized and supplemented with even more targeted suggestions.
In addition, a new search function with visual content suggestions was introduced, which has increased the relevance and attractiveness of the platform, as Gabriel Höhener explains: "Our AI-supported feed optimization remains a priority. We are working intensively on the algorithm that provides users with ever more precise personalized suggestions for content, people and offers and will soon implement far-reaching updates in this area as well."
