Zug/ Zurich, May 28, 2024 - naoo, the new, unique social media platform, is making content for its users even more needs-based and valuable with two product releases. The measurable result: naoo is being used even more intensively and extensively. The significant innovations in the area of content are based on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and concern both the search (Search 2.0) and an improved, individualized feed with trending content.
With Search 2.0, naoo offers an extended search function in grid view format that allows users to discover both the most popular posts in the form of trending content and posts based on their individual interests and user behavior. The new search function thus combines trending content with interest-based suggestions and naoo loops (short videos) at a glance. The naoo community is clearly enthusiastic about the new search functionality. Almost a third of daily active users are already using the feature almost daily and the proportion continues to increase. This is the result of an initial evaluation after one week. Search 2.0 has also significantly increased the intensity of searches. The search impressions per user have already increased by 35 percent with Search 2.0, and the time spent in the new search feature is increasing exponentially.
Another significant content upgrade is the improved naoo feed. This now shows the most popular posts on the entire platform - also supported by AI - in addition to the posts of the followed profiles, individually tailored to the interests of the users. Initial data on the impact of this upgrade also shows positive trends: In the week following the release of the new feed, naoo recorded an increase in daily feed impressions of almost 50% compared to the previous week, while impressions per user increased by 34%. This means that users are now using the feed tailored to their needs significantly more intensively.
The ongoing expansion of the naoo platform is accompanied by dynamic growth in user numbers. The number of downloads of the naoo app is currently around 25 percent higher than at the end of 2024. naoo is currently developing new features and increasing awareness of the platform should further accelerate the growth of naoo.
