Zug/ Zurich, 6 August 2024 - Following the successful development of its new, unique social media platform, naoo AG is now also starting to monetize its business model.
Important building blocks for economic success are advertising from platforms such as Facebook and Audience Network and, above all, naoo's own campaigns, which companies can use to address potential customers in a targeted, efficient and innovative manner.
In both areas, naoo has been able to record its first significant successes in recent months. This is reflected in sales in the six-figure CHF range. 

The number of ads served increased significantly in the second quarter of 2024. Compared to the first quarter, around 300% more ads were served to users. In its own campaigns, naoo recorded a significant increase in customer interest from well-known companies. In these campaigns, naoo combines classic native ads with interactive elements such as surveys and gamification, thus making optimum use of the strengths of the naoo platform. The latest campaigns show that the naoo platform, as a unique combination of high interaction, meaningful user profiles and state-of-the-art technology, generates far above-average results for naoo's corporate customers. It was possible to significantly exceed the targets set for completely different sectors and products:

  • El Tony Mate: naoo has carried out several awareness campaigns for the innovative soft drink manufacturer, consisting of native ads, competitions and surveys. The most recent campaign achieved a click rate of 0.8% and exceeded the targeted reach with a target achievement of 151%.

  • Swype: The telecommunications provider, a Sunrise subsidiary, benefited from the "Summer Deal" campaign, which included native ads, a competition and a survey. The reach target was also exceeded here with 108% and the click rate was even 1.2%.

  • See Tickets: naoo ran a campaign for the Heidi musical for Switzerland's second-largest ticket provider. The measures led to a click rate of 1.5% and a reach target achievement of 132%.

  • Europa-Park: Europe's largest theme park relied on a campaign supported by native ads, competitions, surveys and "Spin & Win". This campaign achieved an impressive click rate of 4.8% and clearly exceeded the reach target by 226%.

  • Shoppi Tivoli: The largest shopping center in Switzerland, ran various campaigns including native ads, a competition and a survey. With a click rate of 1.2% and a target achievement of 119%, the campaign was also a great success, 

  • EUROBUS: naoo ran a Rustexpress campaign for the European bus network that included native ads, a competition and a survey. This campaign achieved a click rate of 1.8% and a target achievement of 167%.

In July 2024, naoo ran four self-marketed campaigns simultaneously for the first time. The naoo social media platform has thus successfully passed its first test in terms of its performance for corporate customers and its scalability. Accordingly, naoo is also confident about its goals for the further commercial expansion of the platform. Exponentially increasing sales are planned, driven by equally growing user numbers, the ongoing technological expansion of the platform and the introduction of further innovative tools for corporate customers. naoo is aiming to break even in 2026.
