Zurich, July 01, 2025 naoo AG (ISIN: CH1323306329, WKN: A40NNU), operator of the unique social media app naoo, reports a positive economic development of its subsidiary Kingfluencers AG: In the first half of 2025, it once again achieved a positive cash flow from operating activities. The legacy liabilities from the previous financial year 2024 were deferred in the amount of CHF 1.2 million, which naoo AG is contributing.
With the contribution of CHF 0.75 million already made, the majority of this financial obligation from the Kingfluencers acquisition has been fulfilled. The remaining CHF 0.45 million will be contributed by the end of the year, after which the additional cash burden will be completely eliminated.
The rapid operational success of Kingfluencers is also the result of a consistently implemented realignment. As part of the performance program initiated in December 2024, which was systematically implemented under new management. It is characterized by organizational and structural optimizations and a strategic focus on the core business of influencer marketing and campaign management. The team size was streamlined by around 15% overall with a focus on marketing and new services, while the areas strategically important for further growth were strengthened at the same time.
The move to new, centrally located office premises also made it possible to reduce office costs by around 15%. A comprehensive project to reorganize administrative processes in the areas of finance, administration and back office in conjunction with ongoing digitalization was also initiated. The total expected savings amount to CHF 0.6 million per year, while at the same time increasing transparency and controllability. 30-40% of the savings will already be seen in the current year.
In addition to optimizations on the cost side, dynamic business development was another important driver of this positive trend. Pleasing sales growth was achieved with several major customers - particularly in the consumer goods, food retail and food industry sectors. Incoming orders rose by 5.3% to CHF 5.93 million in the first half of 2025 compared to the first half of 2024.
The market environment in the DACH region is also showing strong momentum: According to the Influencer Marketing Benchmark Report 2025 by Influencer Marketing Hub, the market volume is expected to exceed EUR 1.3 billion by 2025 - with annual growth rates of between 12 and 15 percent.
An additional lever lies in the realignment of sales. Until now, over 50% of the companies with the largest advertising budgets in Switzerland were not yet the focus of sales efforts. Sales efforts have now been focused on precisely these customer segments. This reveals considerable potential for further growth - through the targeted acquisition of new customers and the sustainable development of existing customer relationships.
